This is actually a really nice all-in-one kit. You have all bases covered- a nice set of brushes in its own case, stencils, and the paint itself. The paint is really easy to work with which is a plus (makes it beginner friendly). You don’t need a lot of water to activate the paint, I just filled a mason jar with water and dipped a small brush in and dripped a drop onto the palette color I wanted to use. Now I am a novice painter, but I think with time and practice I’ll get it down. The stencils make it easy if you don’t want to freehand, just blot a sponge on the paint and then dab it over the stencil. I recommend letting it dry down a little bit before moving the stencil to reduce any smudging. I didn’t have the paint on all day, but it did a pretty good job of staying put and was easily washed off with face wash.

This was an amazing all in one kit that had everything that I needed to complete a face painting activity with students for a summer camp. I love the professional grade, brushes and the ability to stand them up so that they do not cause a mess the pans are easily removed and clipped back in to be able to use the specialty gradients without bleeding into one another. pPlus the stencils and extra sponges were an excellent addition. This is a fantastic set that clearly had a lot of thought and energy put into the design. No complaints whatsoever and I would highly recommend.

We had so much fun with this. We aren’t professional face painters or even face painters in-training, so for us this set was strictly for family enjoyment - and it didn’t disappoint. Even a six year old could master some of the stencils and made some amazing creations on her sibling’s and friend’s faces. Older children have even more ability and amazed us all with their wild designs - one little face was covered in black and green spiders (from the little stencils provided). All the kids - and then the adults fought over who would be next to use this amazing set.The paint is non-toxic and washes right off, unlike some face paint that requires endless scrubbing.Comes with a brush set, and enough stencils to make lots of fabulous - or crazy- painted faces.We didn’t try the sponges, but look forward to attempting color blending as we practice and our skills improve.For right now, the set was just a lot of fun.

I am a Volunteer Clown. Children (and Adults) just love Face Painting at the Events I work. This is a great professional set that has everything you need (except water) to make lots of people happy.I really like the included stencils as they are small and quick/easy to use - the last thing you want is children standing in line for an hour for an elaborate face painting. However, the paints and brushes are definitely great for elaborate face painting too when time is not a concern.The paints are vibrant. The zippered brush pouch is extremely nice. Great Set!

There is a lot of stuff here, more than just the product, because it includes an instruction packet that has a link you can go to where they provide tons of tutorials and ideas on how to face paint certain animals, etc. They provide a lot of information to you!I think that for someone who is really interested in taking face painting to the next level, perhaps someone who is thinking of trying to start out getting some paying gigs this could be a fantastic thing to invest in. Or, it could be a great gift for that person because it does all come nicely presented in a box with a coordinating logo and such (it looks professional and presentable as a gift). Or maybe you just have a one-time event planned where you'll be painting multiple faces away from home, it's great for that too (the carrying case is nice for this).All that being said, it is quite a chunk of money to spend if you're just simply looking for face paint for a costume or going to give it to your kids to play around with. That wouldn't make sense at the price point. But, I do think it could be worth the price IF you're serious about really getting into face painting or have a face painting event. This is definitely one of the more creamy face paints I've experimented with, and the wide array of brushes that you get is definitely something that makes it worth the higher price. The brushes make a big difference!I had no kind of reaction to the paint, and it is very creamy by just adding a little bit of water.
